    Be the voice of The Herbfarm. Here's your opportunity to be the first guest contact for America's only 5-Diamond restaurant north of San Francisco and west of Chicago.

    Greet (via phone, internet, or in person) and help folks from around the globe who want to come and enjoy our highly rated 5-hour, 9-course dining experience that focuses on seasonal and regional ingredients at their prime.

    Smiles, organization, strong communication skills, team orientation, poise as well as several years of hospitality/customer service/office experience are needed to apply for this position.

    We seek an enthusiastic, passionate, disciplined, organized, warm, individual who is eager to learn The Herbfarm 5-Diamond ways and become a member of our 3-4 person, quality-oriented, fun-loving reservation team. Incredible attention to detail is required as well as the ability to communicate in a professional, gracious manner to individual guest nuances in person, on the phone and through email.

    The Herbfarm is a world-class fine dining experience where our food follows the seasons. Our feet are on the ground and we usually have a sense of humor.

    Experience and Qualifications

    •Strong in MS Office & MS Windows skills
    •Several years office /phone service experience
    •European/World Travel
    •College education
    •A genuine desire to serve the guests and the company
    •Adobe Indesign or Graphic design experience a plus.

    Strong service-oriented communication skills-verbal and written. Able to think on your “feet”. Computer comfortable. Skilled in guest service techniques. Able to type and talk at the same time. Smiles. Organizational skills. Comfortable working in tight spaces and going up and down stairs to serve customers. Some retail service experience is helpful.


    This reservationist job will begin full thyme for training. After training expect a consistent schedule of 30 to 40 hours per week. Our office is open 10AM to 5PM seven days a week so the schedule (9-5:30 ish ) rotates with all reservationists working some weekend days. Schedules are set one month at a time coordinating each person's scheduling needs as best we can. Expect to work at least 30 percent of the weekend days.
