The Orchard House Suite

Yards of rich and regal fabric—which Herbfarm proprietors Carrie and Ron discovered in rural France—inspired the gracious Orchard House Suite.

The Orchard House surrounds you in warm and flattering strokes of red, gold, and walnut. The suite’s magnificent, carved four-poster bed is fitted with Italian linens for caressing comfort. French doors open to reveal a private deck and seating area with inspiring views of a green valley, snow-clad Mt. Rainier, and The Herbfarm’s kitchen garden, herb beds, and friendly animals.

The Orchard House gives you two seating areas. One showcases a marble and walnut fireplace with music and DVD ensembles discreetly hidden above. The other, a sofa and low tables, is ideal for snuggling up for a couple hours with a good book. A desk with a two-line phone offers convenient, high-speed Internet access. Other amenities include a romantic soaking tub for two, spacious separate shower with pulsating jets, fluffy robes, and a fully accessible bathroom fashioned from rich Italian marble, English wallpaper, gilt mirrors, and classic wall sconces with fabric shades.

The entire suite is embellished with flowers, paintings, and sculptures collected from around the world. The Orchard House invites you into a realm of its own, rich in detail, and graced with thoughtful touches that ensure comfort, delight, and lasting memories.

The Herb Garden Suite

The Herbfarm’s Herb Garden Suite is closest to the restaurant. It offers you enchanting views of the nearby Herbfarm Restaurant and Kitchen Gardens. On clear days, the dome of Mt. Rainier punctuates the sky, a rousing backdrop to the lush scene from your private deck.

Evoking a trip to the English countryside, the Herb Garden Suite is decorated in garden greens, mauves, and cream. Overstuffed chairs and couches invite you to settle in and relax by the fire with music and a book.

Escape from everyday cares in one of The Herbfarm Romantic Suites. Lamb’s wool pads covered by Italian linens promise rest and relaxation.

The Herb Garden Suite features a dramatic fantasy bed with an ornate, fretted headboard and a cascade of creamy satin fabric that sweeps down from the generous, high ceiling.

Artisanal herb tiles surround the cozy fireplace. Wrapping the fireplace is a warm pine surround, home to fine music and video components. A turn-of-the-century desk gives you workspace and high-speed Internet access. The pine armoire opens to a walk-in closet.

After a day at the local wineries or antique shops, a large bathtub for two awaits to soothe you. The separate shower is enclosed in glass etched with bubbles and friendly sea creatures. A European towel warmer hints at indulgent rub downs in the marble bathroom, rich with sumptuous art-glass sink, twinkling beveled mirrors, and flattering, romantic light.
